Jim Klingler has been playing drums since the age of twelve. From Hawaii to Boston and many places in between, his variety of musical settings and education includes Jazz Combos, Big Bands, Concert Bands, and Drum Corps, as well as Rock, Country and Blues acts.

Having graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Klingler went west and spent 15 years playing and recording in and around Southern California. Some of the recording artists he worked with there include Patty Booker, Chris Gaffney, Jamie Wood and Gary Allan. Besides the many bands he's been asssociated with, he's also ended up at a jam or two with artists such as Dave Alvin, Debbie Davis, Walter Trout and Eric Burden.

After a four year hiatus in Lima, Ohio where he and his wife, Pam Kalson, recorded and produced her CD, "The Great Unknown," Jim and Pam moved to Nashville, seeking a wider scope of musical possibilities.

Since the move, a variety of recording and performance situations have presented themselves. This includes working with Cupid recording artist Kevin Sharp as well as Hometown News, and opening shows for artists such as Tanya Tucker, Lee Greenwood, John Anderson, Andy Griggs, Little Texas, and Charlie Daniels.

Jim stays busy touring with Kevin Sharp and playing in and around the Nashville area with a variety of local bands.
